We rode into town the other day
Just me and my Daddy
He said I'd finally reached that age
And I could ride next to him on a horse
That of course was not quite as wide

We heard a crowd of people shouting
And so we stopped to find out why
And there was that man
That my dad said he loved
But today there was fear in his eyes

So I said "Daddy, why are they screaming?
Why are the faces of some of them beaming?
Why is He dressed in that bright purple robe?
I'll bet that crown hurts Him more than He shows
Daddy, please can't you do something?
He looks as though He's gonna cry
You said he was stronger than all of those guys daddy, please tell me why
Why does everyone want him to die?"

Later that day the sky grew cloudy
And Daddy said I should go inside
Somehow he knew things would get stormy
Boy was he right
But I could not keep from wondering
If there was something he had to hide

So after he left I had to find out
I was not afraid of getting lost
So I followed the crowds
To a hill where I knew men had been killed
And I heard a voice come from the cross

And it said, "Father, why are they screaming?

Why are they casting their lots for My robe?
This crown of thorns hurts Me more than it shows
Father, please can't You do something?

that God loves you very very much. :)

You are the reason that Jesus had to die.
He loved you, before you could even understand that love.
We're unworthy, but God still did it anyway because He loves us.

Hi guys!! i'm asking some yfers down to my place on saturday, and our cg ppl are invited:D

it's not a cg thing, but u're all invited anyway(: it's 3pm saturday at bishan mrt, we'll come my place.. hang around a bit. then maybe go out for dinner? or something liddat. if guys wanna stay over and go to church together the next day, i think it can be arranged. yup, just some hang out time with random yf ppl(: [but it's invite only!:D]

so call/sms me at 96288281 if u're coming yeah? if u dun, i assume u aren't coming, cos i'm too lazy to call everyone in the cg :P

I got something to share! When i found out tt i couldnt go for ignite coz of debate competition, i was upset tt God wouldnt be working in my sch this yr. i had been praying & seeing not much results for ages for passionate christians to rise up in our sch n pray..n i was really discouraged. BUT...God surprised me!

Having only 1yr of training (sec3), compared to other schs, we r super lousy. So my team was really worried for our competiton...before the first debate we (4 christians) prayed! Our non-christian fren decided not to join us...so she was observing the competiton scene...later she told us that ri (no offence zr) was laughing at us when we were praying...guess what?

WE WON! bwahahahahaha:D

so since then, our non-christian fren decided to join us in prayer! yeah!
yeah, in the end after 3 rounds, the scores were tabulated n we made it to the semi-finals! so yup, considering what a loser debate team we are (with retards like me) THANK GOD(: He used our weakness to show how big and MIGHTY He is! And it was really encouraging to be joining hands in prayer before a competition! yayeee! though we lost our semi-finals to mgs, we still testify that God had been in total control of everything. Yay!
*pray for our next competition on 15feb!:D

And...one day 2ppl approached me asking if i wanted to set up a prayer core grp for our level! woohoo! so now our IPrayer grp meet on mon n fri:D and combine with other NJC students on wed to pray. The grp is growing! so amen!
*pray that God will increase our faith & numbers as we pray, & of course salvations!

Yup, its really cool to see God working in ways that i'd never thought He could:D
